Do you like socialising? Do you like working with older people? Do you have administration and organisation skills?

We need volunteers to be Social Connectors for the Peninsula Social Club (PSC), an affiliate program of Peninsula Transport Assist. The PSC aims to alleviate social isolation for the elderly and transport disadvantaged by running regular social outings.

This role may include the following responsibilities and skills (all skills are appreciated and we encourage you to apply regardless of whether you can fill all requirements/ skills):

Administration & Office Management

Supervising

Outings

Driving

Disability Support

Fundraising & Events

Governance, Boards, & Committee meetings

Commitment: Regular – less than 6 months

Time Required

Minimum 4 hours per fortnight.

Requirements

-National Police Certificate *

– Interview
– Reference checks
– Induction session

You need to be outgoing, reliable and friendly. We have activities from Rosebud to Frankston & over to Hastings. You work when & where suits you.
