Website Fusion Australia - Mornington Peninsula

Youth and Community Organisation

Op-Shops are a great resource for our community. Providing good quality, low cost items, and they support the war on waste helping our environment.

Fusion Mornington Peninsula receive just a small parcel of government funding for our casework team and so are reliant on donors, philanthropy, grants and fundraising activities to continue and build the work we do.

As part of our long term plan to be sustainable we opened the Robertson Drive Op Shop this time last year and now are about to open another Op Shop.

We could not be more excited about getting the keys to this giant warehouse and start the transformation into a space that will not only raise funds for our work but offer great opportunities for young people to gain employability skills.

None of this is possible without you. We need to truly embrace our our theme for 2021 – ‘It takes a Village’ to ensure Fusion Mornington Peninsula can continue it’s work well into the future. Whether you are retired, a school mum or a university student who has minimum 4 hours a week available we would love to hear from you.

We need volunteers to staff both our op shops and make them great. To staff our two enterprises we need a solid, reliable team of between 30 – 60 people to make this work.

If you have a heart to see communities transformed this is a volunteering opportunity for you. Any specific skills you might have are a bonus – retail, visual merchandising, ebay, trade etc. Training will be provided.
