Help visitors and the local community make the most of their Mornington Peninsula experience

Mornington Peninsula Visitor Information Centre (Dromana) is looking for volunteers who are customer service focused people who love the Mornington Peninsula.

Our volunteers play a vital role in the Mornington Peninsula’s tourism economy by providing tourism information and inspiration to thousands of visitors and local residents each year.

Visitors to our region look to us for advice to help them discover all the amazing things to do and places to see on the Mornington Peninsula.

Our volunteers’ passion and knowledge of the Mornington Peninsula adds to the amazing experience visitors have in our beautiful region.

Our volunteers perform a range of duties including:

·         Responding to enquiries in person, over the phone and online

·         Promoting the region’s tourism products and experiences

·         Assisting with the collection and recording of visitor statistics

·         Selling gifts and mementos

·         Completing daily office administration as required.

The Visitor Centre is open 7 days a week, 10am-4pm (closed Good Friday, ANZAC Day and Christmas Day). Working with a staff member, volunteers are usually rostered to work one, 3-hour shift per week.
