Community Support Workers provide key supports to people in need in our community.  They assess clients’ complex needs and provide emergency relief assistance, material aid, advocacy, referral and general support.  Most importantly they work with respect and compassion in a non-judgmental capacity to create the best outcomes possible for those in our community who are struggling.  Key skills are listening and communication, problem-solving, open-mindedness and good teamwork.  We provide a warm and supportive environment where volunteers, coordinators and caseworkers work closely together to find solutions for our clients.
