During these challenging times we need volunteers more than ever, to support isolated people in our community to feel socially connected again. If you’re a ‘people person’ and would like to make a difference to the life of someone who is socially isolated we would love to hear from you!

Mary* is a very kind, warm and friendly person. She’d like a friendly volunteer to come and visit her in her home in Rosebud. Mary* is interested in having a chat over a cuppa. Her interests include puzzles, especially crosswords and jigsaws. In the past she liked to knit.

She is very flexible and very grateful for a visitor any day of the week, either weekly or fortnightly visits, any weekday between 9am- 3pm. The successful applicant will demonstrate the confidence to work independently This rewarding role will enable you to make a valuable contribution to your community and the social wellbeing of another person. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.
